Fishing is excellent. I have been fishing the same four flies for literally 6 weeks. One fly has been a work horse in particular, you can see it, float it, and the fish crush it. Hand tied by yours truly, they have serial numbers and tracking devices installed. While some guides yell across the river and ask what people are using, we keep our flies under lock and key. Did you know that most flies available in the shops were designed by anglers who have never even seen the Missouri? My flies are custom tuned by a guy who has fished out here since he was 18, and grew up fly fishing.
We can't wait for hoppers.
