Highly unsettled weather pattern yesterday, but fishing was good nonetheless. Small drys, nymphs, and streamers all produced nice trout. Photos are on their way. No spawning trout were targeted, and we weren't fishing egg colored and shaped flies, wish that could be said river wide. No anglers or guides should be targeting spawning rainbows right now, and all of our tributaries should be closed for a couple of hundred yards downstream. If your standing or rowing around below tributaries, fishing flies like hot beads or rainbow czech, you might as well be fishing in a children's pond.
We are experiencing a great little window of good dry fly fishing right now. I have a lot of availability, but have been sending quite a few emails about the good fishing.
